Aaron Monte
Aaron Monte (he/him) is a comedian from Los Angeles, California.
Aaron and I met way back in 2005 when I first arrived at Maria Regina Catholic School. In 2009 when I “graduated from 8th grade,” our 8th grade teacher, Mrs. Plourde, told me that I was going to be the next Aaron Monte. I’m not sure what that meant as a 13-year-old, but Aaron gave the valedictorian speech for his 8th grade class, and me for mine, so maybe she was on to something? I also ended up going to the same high school that he did, so hey!
Whether or not I am the next Aaron Monte (I’m not. I think both of us are fine with that), he is someone that I have looked up to for quite some time. Our conversation was a much needed opportunity for us to catch up outside of comedy clubs, discuss the proper way to play UNO, and most importantly, share some laughs. Hope you laugh too!
