Cambria

Cambria is a podcaster (another 1/4 of FourDeepPod) as well as a dental student at Howard University.

Future Dr. Cambria and I met the first week of her first year at UC San Diego. Our first extended conversation though came a week or two later when we were chopping it up in the laundry room of the Muir Residence Halls about every significant thing that ever happened in our lives to date (like all college students do). Since then, we have developed a unique friendship filled with support, plenty of laughs, and most recently, plenty of movie conversations.

Cambria is one of the most ambitious people that I know and truly cares about the people in her circle. She is the first person I ever met that wanted to be a dentist, and I will never forget when I visited her in DC and saw her in her scrubs - she really be doing the damn thing. This episode gives you a peek into that journey, plenty of UCSD stories (and teasers to some that everybody can’t hear), comparisons of the HBCU vs UC experience, and of course, some tips to make your dentist happy on your next visit.
