I met De’Von at a college fair in Atlanta, Georgia. I knew our paths would continue to cross as colleagues, but I did not expect us to develop a great brotherhood extending well beyond the constraints of college admissions.
Fast forward a few years and one day as I was scrolling on my phone, I noticed a headline about Jrue Holiday gifting Play Black Wall Street the Board Game to every player in the NBA. I immediately checked out the article to make sure my brain was making the proper connections that this was THE Play Black Wall Street.
