Pascal
Pascal is an all-around artist from San Diego.
I was so excited to interview Pascal on the pod - she is a relatively new friend in my life, and one of the newer faces within the poetry community in San Diego. Throughout our conversation, I saw so much of a younger version of me in her responses and her thought processes. She has blossomed as a leader at Cuyamaca, starting the Young, Gifted, & Black organization where she is able to amplify the creative talents of other Black students on their campus.
Young, Gifted, & Black is not only the organization that Pascal founded at Cuyamaca, it also perfectly embodies who Pascal is as an artist. While she is still growing into herself and her voice as a poet and artist, I know that she is destined for greatness. I am more than honored that she trusted me to help her tell her story, and I hope that you all gain so much inspiration from what we discuss throughout this episode. Grab a cup of tea, your favorite candle (preferably from StashCandleCo), and join us for a lively conversation about the ins and outs of being an artist.
